The SCOTT Gambler is a mountain bike designed with maximum adjustability in mind. It allows you to change wheel sizes without any additional modifications, and also offers the option to adjust the chainstay length independently. Short with 29″ or long with 27.5″ – the choice is entirely in the rider’s hands. It also comes with angle-adjust headset cups to change the head tube angle, as well as a four-position chip that allows precise geometry adjustments to suit the terrain, shock or riding style. All of this ensures optimal weight distribution, as well as greater stability and grip on the most demanding tracks.
For the Gambler, SCOTT has introduced its own chain guide and bashguard solution. Instead of universal systems, which are heavier and involve compromises, this bike uses a dedicated system that is lightweight and easy to adjust. It allows for a wider main pivot for increased stiffness, longer bearing life and an improved rear triangle design. Integrated rubber dampers reduce the risk of frame damage, while the separate bashguard and chain guide components mean that, in the event of damage, only the individual part needs to be replaced. The result is a lighter, more durable and more efficient system that further enhances the bike as a whole.
