SCOTT GENIUS 940 2025 MOUNTAIN BIKE

INTEGRATED SUSPENSION TECHNOLOGY

The new Genius uses Scott’s patented integrated suspension technology. Not only does it look great, it also improves the bike’s suspension performance. The frame’s lower centre of gravity, improved handling and stability give the rider greater confidence. The frame construction is stiffer and reduces unwanted lateral movement relative to the direction of travel. The shock itself is protected from impacts and the weather, two factors that affect its performance and operation.

GEOMETRY

The 29” bike has 150 mm of rear travel combined with 160 mm of front travel. The new Genius platform has been adapted to the demands of the modern trail bike. We have made intelligent use of a slacker, longer and lower geometry, with more capable geometry than its predecessor. We wanted a bike that would excel on climbs while also having everything needed for better descents. Like the other bikes, the Genius has an adjustable head angle (64 or 65 degrees).

GENIUS and GENIUS ST

We present the Genius in two versions: the Genius 900 and the Genius Super Trail, or “ST”. Our all-new Genius 900 platform carries on the tradition of the versatile trail bike. A package ideal for any trail, any time. The ST, on the other hand, is tailored to more aggressive riding. Both bikes have the same frame geometry. At the heart of both is our NUDE shock platform, a signature feature of the Genius family for more than a decade.
The Genius 900 is equipped with a NUDE T shock, while the Genius ST features an entirely new addition – the Float X NUDE (Fox). With this suspension, we use our own technology, designed for more aggressive riding.

SAG

Setting the sag has never been easier. The external indicator makes it easy for the rider to set it.

HANDLEBAR

The Genius is equipped with a Syncros Hixon handlebar. Redesigned with refined ergonomics and two different rise options (15 mm and 25 mm). It allows you to mount a cycle computer, light, etc. The cables are routed beneath the handlebar. If you change the stem, you won’t need to visit a mechanic. Simply remove the handlebar and stem cover, rotate them 180 degrees and reassemble.

ALUMINIUM, CARBON or HYBRID

Alongside the carbon models, the 2023 Genius and Genius ST will be available in a hybrid version with a carbon front triangle and an aluminium rear triangle, as well as an all-aluminium version. The latter delivers an excellent ride with the same geometry and kinematics, as well as an advanced level of integration (internal cable routing, sag indicator, easy access to the shock, adjustable stem, etc.).
The new Genius is available in carbon, hybrid and aluminium versions. There are 10 Genius 900 and ST models in total, including 2 Contessa models.

TWINLOCK SUSPENSION SYSTEM

The new Genius 900 is equipped with the TwinLock system. This allows the rider to adjust the front and rear suspension. One TwinLock and three different bikes in one.
On Genius ST models, the fork is independent of the shock, unlike on the Genius 900. The fork on the Genius ST is adjustable and designed for maximum performance and aggressive riding on descents.
