La Sportiva HyperEZ are climbing shoes with a SenseGrip™ midsole and FriXion® White rubber, designed for beginners learning to climb. They are designed to help prevent foot pain, allowing new climbers to progress more quickly through their first climbing steps and as they get to know the wall.

Which discipline and terrain are they for?

These entry-level climbing shoes are suitable for indoor and outdoor climbing. They are intended for new climbers learning techniques such as “smearing”, “flagging” and heel hooking. The increased volume in key pressure zones prevents pinching and ensures a comfortable experience during longer training sessions, while the feet are still getting used to aggressive climbing positions.

• FriXion® White rubber: The rubber compound (4 mm at the toes, 2 mm at the heel) provides maximum grip without leaving marks on indoor climbing walls.
• SenseGrip™ technology: The patented midsole made from soft EVA foam compresses under pressure, increasing grip and stability on holds.
• Two-strap fastening system: The cross-over straps, inspired by the legendary Katana model, allow for quick entry and precise adjustment of the fit.
• Washable vegan materials: The microfibre upper can be machine washed at 30 °C, and the shoes are made entirely from 100% vegan materials.
• Resoleable (Resole Me): The design makes it easy to replace the worn sole with original parts, extending the life of the shoe and reducing waste.

Shape and fit

The shape provides generous volume at sensitive pressure points, reducing fatigue and pain for beginners. The padded shoe collar offers extra softness while climbing and walking between routes, while the rubber heel stabilises the foot when heel hooking.
