The integrated shock design allows us to fine-tune the performance of the suspension without adding weight. A stiffer frame construction and trunnion mount reduce lateral movement and improve power transfer. Larger bearings further reinforce the seat tube area, while the shock’s lower position lowers the bike’s centre of gravity. The result is more efficient suspension, improved handling and a stable ride – while the shock is also fully protected from dirt and the elements.
A full-suspension bike is only successful if its suspension is exceptionally well designed. The Spark uses a single pivot with a flex link in the rear triangle, reducing unsprung mass and keeping weight low. This proven kinematics has proved to be the best solution for technical XC courses and fast singletrack.
The new Spark makes it easy to adjust the head angle by ±0.6 degrees – without cutting cables or bleeding the brakes again. All you need to do is rotate the bearing cups by 180° and tailor the bike to your riding style.
The Spark is equipped with the new Syncros Fraser iC cockpit, with all cables neatly routed through the handlebar and into the frame. Its special design prevents the cables from kinking and keeps the front end looking minimalist. The cockpit also makes it easy to fit mounts for bike computers, lights or cameras – above or below the handlebar.
