The integrated shock design improves suspension performance without adding extra weight. The stiffer frame construction and trunnion mount reduce unwanted movement and increase power transfer efficiency. The shock’s lower position lowers the centre of gravity, improving handling and stability, while also protecting the shock from external elements.
The shock can be accessed through an opening by the bottom bracket. This makes it easy to adjust your suspension (rebound, compression, pressure) and install or replace the TwinLoc system cable. 
A full-suspension bike is only as good as its suspension. From the outset, we have stayed true to the simple single pivot design on the Spark, which has proven to be the best choice for technical XC riding and fast trails. Using a flex pivot on the seatstays reduces unsprung mass and delivers a lightweight construction and optimal suspension performance.
The new Spark makes it easy to change the head tube angle by 0.6° – slacker or steeper. This can be done without cutting cables or bleeding the brakes – simply rotate the headset cup by 180° and reassemble.
