With the all-new Scott Addict, they have taken a fresh approach to building road frames, drawing inspiration from mountain bikes. The result is a frame that is a remarkable 300 g lighter than its predecessor, with no compromise in performance.
The innovative PP Mandrel process allows the internal surfaces and transitions to be shaped with exceptional precision. Optimised tube shapes reduce the need for additional reinforcement and excess weight. The result is best-in-class tubing – lightweight, stiff and durable.
The redesigned Addict RC geometry is designed for wider tyres, improved handling and consistent behaviour across all frame sizes. The bike combines responsiveness and agility, making it suitable for both professionals and ambitious amateurs.
Advanced forming technology and a new seatpost clamp allow for thinner tube walls and reduced material use. Combined with the innovative Syncros SP-R101-CF seatpost, this delivers greater comfort on long rides. The frame also accommodates tyres up to 34 mm.
The new Syncros cockpit offers improved grip and aerodynamics, refined cable routing and a lighter mounting system. A range of stem length and handlebar width combinations is available, so every rider can achieve the perfect fit.
The Addict RC sets a new standard for ease of adjustment. Standardised bolts and the universal T25 tool, discreetly stored in the cockpit, allow quick adjustment of the handlebars, stem, seatpost, clamps and even bottle cages. Easier for the rider, faster for the mechanic.
