The integrated shock design improves suspension performance without adding extra weight. The stiffer frame construction and trunnion mount reduce unwanted movement and increase pedalling efficiency. Mounting the shock lower lowers the centre of gravity, improving handling and stability, while also protecting the shock from external elements.
Access to the shock is through an opening by the bottom bracket. This makes it easy to adjust your suspension (rebound, compression, pressure) and install or replace the TwinLoc system cable. 
A full-suspension bike only performs well with good suspension. From the outset, the Spark has stayed true to a simple single pivot design, which has proved to be the best choice for technical XC riding and fast trails. Using a flex pivot at the seatstays reduces unsprung mass, keeps the construction lightweight and delivers optimal suspension performance.
The new Spark makes it easy to change the head angle by 0,6° – to a slacker or steeper position. This can be done without cutting cables or bleeding the brakes – simply rotate the headset cup by 180° and reassemble.
