TQ HPR60 Motor

TQ is a German company founded in 1994, specialising in electronic components for various industrial sectors. Its latest generation of Harmonic Pin Ring (HPR) drive system – the HPR60 – sets new standards with an exceptional weight-to-power ratio: 1910 g for 60 Nm of torque.

Its more compact design makes it possible to reduce the size of the drive unit while increasing the system’s precision. This means a lighter bike, better integration and reduced mechanical play, delivering a more natural pedalling feel.

TQ HPR 360 Wh battery

The Lumen is equipped with an internal 360 Wh battery, which can be extended with an additional external 160 Wh range extender. Together, the system provides greater range and worry-free riding.

Thanks to TQ’s expertise, the HPR50 battery uses specially designed cells that deliver consistent, maximum performance from both the internal battery and the external range extender, even when their charge is running low.

The smart charger lets you charge the system with the range extender installed, prioritising the bike’s main battery. This means you’re always ready to ride, without worrying about the battery running flat along the way.

TQ HPR Range Extender

The Lumen is equipped with an internal 360 Wh battery, which can be supplemented with an external 160 Wh range extender. It attaches easily to the front bottle cage mount using a unique quick-release system designed by SCOTT. The range extender features an exceptionally slim profile and low weight, so it has almost no effect on the bike’s handling.

Lumen Dual Water Bottle

Unlike most full-suspension e-bikes, the Lumen means you don’t have to choose between an additional battery and a bottle – between longer rides and hydration. Thanks to the integrated rear shock, there’s enough room for both the external range extender and water.

The optional sliding mount also makes it easy to switch between a rear bottle and the range extender, so you can carry both on longer rides without any hassle.

Lumen Chain Line

The TQ drive unit allows a standard Q-factor to be maintained with a 55 mm chainline – the same as on the Scott Spark. This brings several important benefits:

• Excellent tyre clearance without compromising frame stiffness, which is key to optimal power transfer.

• The same foot position and width as on a conventional bike, for a natural riding feel.

TQ HPR App

The TQ app offers real benefits and is easy to use. It lets you easily connect, customise and control your TQ drive system. The bike comes factory-equipped with SCOTT’s recommended motor settings, and you can further optimise performance using the app – whether to conserve battery power or achieve maximum output.

You can also adjust how the motor responds to pedalling – from rapid acceleration to a more relaxed, natural feel. The app also lets you customise the display by changing the order and number of screens shown, and switching operating sounds on or off, among other options.
