The new TQ HPR40 drive system is even more discreet, compact and lightweight than previous generations. The motor takes the riding experience to a whole new level, making pedalling almost as efficient as on a conventional bike without assistance. Pedalling resistance is minimal, and the transition between motor assistance and riding without it is so smooth that you can hardly feel it – it’s difficult to tell whether you’re pedalling on your own or being assisted by the TQ system. Three assistance modes let you tailor your ride to your preferred intensity or how you’re feeling that day. As the system is more than 1000 grams lighter than its predecessor, it further contributes to the overall lightweight feel of the bike.

The elegant silhouette of the Fastlane conceals a 290 Wh battery, powerful enough for long days out exploring your new favourite routes. The new battery from TQ is more efficient, giving you more kilometres for less energy used (Wh).
It takes just 3 hours to charge to 100%, and the new charger is so small you can fit it in a back pocket — so you can recharge the battery over a coffee while you explore.

Stay in control

To make your ride as relaxed and distraction-free as possible, the bike has a simple, clean design, without unnecessary displays or controls. There’s just a discreet controller at the end of the handlebar for switching the bike on and off.
To change the riding modes, simply use the buttons on the handlebars; easy access means safer riding.
Connect the bike to your cycling computer via ANT+ and all the ride data you need is right in front of you.

Lightweight design

An electric road bike shouldn’t look or feel heavy – and the Fastlane doesn’t. The frame weighs just 865 g, and together with the new lightweight TQ drive unit and aerodynamic design, it’s built to save energy – battery energy!
Despite its exceptionally low weight, the bike has endurance-focused geometry and accommodates tyres up to 38 mm wide, delivering comfort on the climbs and reliable control on the descents.

The highest level of integration

On the Fastlane, refined design continues right to its core – the integrated 290 Wh battery powers all the bike’s components.
With the rear light, derailleurs and drive unit connected directly to the main battery, you now only need to charge one battery.
That means less cable management and more time to plan your next route.

TQ Range Extender

In addition to the battery integrated into the down tube, all SCOTT e-road and e-gravel bikes with a TQ drive system are compatible with an additional 160 Wh battery (Range Extender).
This additional battery is available as an accessory and looks similar to a water bottle.
Using the SCOTT quick-release mounting system, it can be easily swapped for a bottle cage without tools.
Thanks to TQ’s expertise and efficient cell design, the battery’s capacity is used to the full, while the e-bike system automatically adapts using SMART technology when two power sources are connected.

TQ app

The TQ app offers real benefits and is easy to use. With the TQ E-Bike app, you can easily connect to, customise and control your TQ-powered e-bike.

The bike comes set up with the recommended SCOTT motor tuning, and you can further customise the drive unit in the app – whether you want longer battery life or maximum power.

You can also adjust pedal response so the motor reacts faster or a little more slowly, for a more natural riding feel.
