The most aerodynamic position for the down tube would be directly behind the front wheel, but even the slightest turn of the wheel causes turbulence and increases drag. Extensive testing has shown that the fastest solution in real-world conditions is to have a greater distance between the front wheel and the down tube – a compromise that delivers speed without the drawbacks.

Adjustability for the perfect aero position

The rear wheel is always aligned with the seat tube, resulting in greater aerodynamic efficiency. To help every rider achieve the best possible position, regardless of their choice of rims or tyres, Plasma 6 offers six different rear-wheel mounting positions.
