Scarpa Zodiac Tech GTX is a hybrid hiking and mountaineering boot, suitable for long-term use and chosen for its versatility by mountain guides and mountain rescue teams. Made from Perwanger Nepal leather, it is designed for outings on mixed terrain, even with a fully loaded rucksack. The patented Bascula Adaptive System technology provides stability and grip, while the rubber rand protects the foot and keeps the boot securely closed.

Upper

Made from water-repellent Perwanger Nepal leather, a symbol of innovation and quality. It features Sock-Fit XT construction, which wraps around the foot like a sock, combined with a protective rubber rand. Heel Control is an innovative system located around the heel that prevents twisting, makes walking on uneven terrain easier and improves the upper’s responsiveness.

Gaiter

The upper gaiter provides a closer fit around the lower leg, preventing dirt, stones and snow from getting in.

Lacing

Inspired by climbing footwear, the extended lacing runs all the way to the toes through metal eyelets, offering maximum adjustability and a comfortable fit.

Lining

Made with a GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membrane for maximum waterproofness and optimal comfort.

Midsole

The ABS Precision Cramp features a patented Bascula Adaptive System that combines rigid and flexible grooves to provide excellent grip and security on all surfaces and slopes, while maintaining maximum comfort.

Outsole

Made from Vibram® Mont rubber compound, it provides stability and durability. Compatible with semi-automatic crampons.
