Scarpa Mescalito is the first shoe in the world to use Vibram®Lite Base technology, which significantly reduces the weight of the sole. Cushioning is provided by EVA foam in two different densities. A TPU plastic rib is integrated to provide torsional stability and prevent the foot from twisting. Vibram®Megagrip rubber is divided into zones of varying hardness and offers exceptional grip on any surface.

Upper

• Made from water-repellent, abrasion-resistant suede leather, with an elastic tongue and collar for outstanding comfort.
• The external TPU Tech support is lightweight and durable, providing protection and heel containment.
• The asymmetrical rubber toe cap provides enhanced protection on the medial side.

Laces

• Extended lacing, inspired by climbing footwear, reaches right to the toes to provide maximum adjustability and a comfortable fit.

Midsole

• Made from two densities of EVA and an ergonomic anti-torsion TPU insert that provides improved stability.
• Provides precise support and maximum agility.

Outsole

• Dynamis LB with Vibram® LiteBase technology reduces the overall weight of the sole by 30% thanks to a 50% thinner profile, while retaining Vibram®’s characteristic grip, traction and durability.
• Softer climbing rubber at the toe provides exceptional precision on technical terrain.
