When down gets wet, it clumps together and loses its loft, reducing its insulating properties. That is why the premium goose down used in the Radical Down Hooded jacket is treated with DOWNTEK®. The DOWNTEK® water-repellent treatment allows the down to retain its loft and breathability even when exposed to moisture, so it continues to keep you warm.

In addition, the down dries faster and can be machine-washed without any loss of quality. For extra protection from the elements, the lightweight nylon outer layer is windproof and water-resistant. Stretch panels at the sides under the arms improve breathability, temperature regulation and freedom of movement. Stretch binding at the hem and cuffs keeps the jacket in place and prevents cold air from getting in or warmth from escaping.
