When down gets wet, it clumps together and loses its loft, which reduces its insulating ability. That’s why the premium goose down used in the Radical Down Hooded jacket is treated with DOWNTEK®. The DOWNTEK® water-repellent treatment enables the down to retain its loft and breathability even when exposed to moisture, keeping you warm.

What’s more, the down dries faster and can be machine-washed without losing its quality. For additional weather protection, the lightweight nylon outer layer is wind- and water-resistant. Stretch side panels under the arms provide improved breathability, temperature regulation and freedom of movement. Stretch binding at the hem and cuffs keeps the jacket in place and prevents cold air from getting in or warmth from escaping.
