Legendary all-round tyre for enduro and downhill bikes
Magic Mary is an all-round tyre for mountain bikers who prioritise performance, fun and confidence on descents. Whether you need reliable grip on a downhill track, in a bike park or on your local trails, it delivers — reliably and predictably. As well as enduro and downhill bikes, it also performs well on electric mountain bikes, trail bikes and all-mountain bikes. Changing conditions and surfaces? With Magic Mary, you’ll tackle them with control and speed!
One tread for every trail
You’ll find the distinctive tread of the Magic Mary tyre on the world’s most famous trails. The open tread has knobs that dig into soft ground while also providing reliable grip on hard surfaces. Large, angled and well-supported side knobs offer plenty of grip in corners. The centre knobs support you when braking and are angled for easier rolling. On closer inspection, you’ll notice small slits in the knobs. These V-grooves, developed specifically for Magic Mary, ensure that the knobs conform even better to the trail surface.
Countless successes in the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup
Schwalbe Magic Mary is the tyre of choice for top athletes in the downhill and enduro World Cup. Amaury Pierron, Myriam Nicole, Stevie Smith and many others have ridden it all the way to the podium (and beyond). But even if you’re not competing at the highest level, Magic Mary will get you confidently to your destination.
Trail Pro construction
If you prefer a slightly lighter construction with fewer compromises in puncture protection and precision, while still wanting to benefit from radial tyre technology, the TRAIL PRO radial tyre is the right construction for you! Originally developed for downhill World Cup professionals, you too can now enjoy the benefits of radial tyres: more grip, more damping, more confidence.
How does it work? The casing threads are woven at a more obtuse angle. This allows the tyre to conform better to the ground at certain points and gives it a 30 per cent larger contact patch on the trail at the same air pressure.
