The Trek Powerfly+ 4 Gen 5 is a hardtail electric mountain bike with 120 mm of travel and an integrated battery, designed for trail riding and longer trips in the countryside. Its robust aluminium construction and carefully considered geometry provide stable handling on forest trails and gravel climbs.
It sits in the mid-range of versatile hardtail e-bikes for recreational use. With 120 mm of front suspension travel, it falls into the classic trail and cross-country category, making it ideal for less demanding descents and long rides. It is designed for riders who want powerful assistance on climbs and predictable handling on moderately technical terrain.
On technical climbs, the Bosch Performance Line CX motor with 85 Nm of torque and the 10-speed Shimano CUES drivetrain deliver smooth power even on steep gravel and forest trails.
On all-day rides, the 600 Wh battery and the carefully considered aluminium frame geometry help reduce fatigue, giving you more time to explore the countryside.
On moderately challenging descents, the 120 mm of travel from the SR Suntour front fork and Tektro hydraulic disc brakes provide confident control and reliable stopping before obstacles.
A 600 Wh battery is usually sufficient for rides of 50–80 km, depending on the assistance level, rider weight and elevation gain on the route.
The maximum total weight (bike, rider and cargo) is limited to 136 kg, allowing safe use with additional luggage.
