This Hillbilly mountain bike tyre loves rough terrain. Gravity-focused and excellent in steep, slippery and wet conditions, it is designed specifically to grip unpredictable natural terrain and provide confidence and control in the untamed wilderness.
The new mountain bike tyre tread pattern features an aggressive profile with deep centre knobs and large side blocks that bite into the ground when cornering.
Transition knobs reinforce the tyre structure, improve grip and reduce rolling resistance, from ploughing through deep soil to rocky slabs and sliding over slippery roots.
Specialized’s exclusive Sticky Fast T9 rubber compound increases the tyre’s grip, allowing it to hold on everywhere, even in the most slippery conditions. In addition, the T9 compound is designed to provide just the right amount of damping on the trail, reducing vibration and tyre deflection to improve stability and control in demanding conditions.
This tubeless-ready tyre is available with a GRID Trail casing, an excellent choice for aggressive riding in tough conditions. Just add sealant: the Hillbilly is 2Bliss Ready for easy setup and inflation with or without inner tubes.
