TQ HPR60 Motor

TQ is a German company, founded in 1994, specialising in electronic components for various industrial sectors. Its latest generation of Harmonic Pin Ring (HPR) drive system – the HPR60 – sets new standards with an outstanding weight-to-power ratio: 1910 g for 60 Nm of torque.

Its more compact design makes it possible to reduce the size of the drive unit while increasing system precision. This means a lighter bike, better integration and reduced mechanical play, delivering a more natural pedalling feel.

TQ HPR 360 Wh battery

The Lumen features an internal 360 Wh battery, which can be supplemented with an additional 160 Wh external range extender. Together, the system provides greater range and carefree riding.

Thanks to TQ’s expertise, the HPR50 battery uses special cells to ensure consistent, maximum performance from both the internal battery and the external range extender, even when their charge is running low.

The smart charger lets you charge the system with the range extender installed, prioritising the bike’s main battery. So you’re always ready to ride, without worrying about the battery running flat on the trail.

TQ HPR Range Extender

The Lumen features an internal 360 Wh battery, which can be supplemented with a 160 Wh external range extender. It attaches easily to the front bottle cage mount using SCOTT’s unique quick-release system. The range extender’s exceptionally slim design and low weight mean it has virtually no effect on the bike’s handling.

Lumen Dual Water Bottle

Unlike most full-suspension e-bikes, the Lumen doesn’t force you to choose between an additional battery and a water bottle – between longer rides and staying hydrated. The integrated rear shock leaves enough room for both the external range extender and a water bottle.

The optional sliding mount also makes it easy to switch between a rear bottle and the range extender, so you can carry both on longer rides without any trouble.

Lumen Chain Line

The TQ drive unit allows the standard Q-factor to be retained with a 55 mm chainline – the same as on the Scott Spark. This brings several important benefits:

• Excellent tyre clearance without compromising frame stiffness, which is key to optimal power transfer.

• The same foot position and stance width as on a conventional bike, for a natural riding feel.

TQ HPR App

The TQ app offers real benefits and is easy to use. It lets you easily connect to, customise and control your TQ drive system. The bike comes with SCOTT’s recommended motor settings from the factory, and you can use the app to further optimise performance – whether to save battery power or achieve maximum power.

You can also adjust the motor’s response to pedalling – from rapid acceleration to a more controlled, natural feel. The app also lets you customise the display: change the order and number of screens shown, switch operating sounds on or off, and much more.
