The SCOTT Insuloft Light Down is a technical men’s down jacket with Allied® FX Down™ hybrid fill, designed for riding and active movement in cold winter conditions. As the second-warmest insulating layer in Scott’s range, it offers an exceptional balance of warmth, low weight and packability.

What conditions and activities is it designed for?

It is a premium insulated jacket for winter sports and mountaineering. It is designed for active people who need consistent warmth in low temperatures. Thanks to its low profile and high compressibility, it works well as a mid-layer under a 3L outer jacket (hardshell) in extreme cold. On dry, settled winter days, it can also be worn as a standalone outer layer.

On extremely cold days at the resort, it works well as a mid-layer under a waterproof 3L membrane jacket, as it does not restrict movement and helps maintain an optimal body temperature.
