The SCOTT Insuloft Light Down is a men’s insulated jacket with Allied® FX Down™ hybrid insulation, designed to be worn under a 3L shell or as a standalone garment in cold conditions. It is the second-warmest insulated layer in Scott’s range, combining low weight with high thermal efficiency.

What conditions and activities is it suited to?

It is a premium technical insulated jacket for winter activities and cold conditions. It is designed for skiers, ski tourers and mountaineers who need reliable warmth without unnecessary weight. As the second-warmest model in the range, it offers an excellent balance of insulation and packability.

Key features and materials

In use

For ski touring and mountaineering, the jacket works well as a warm layer to carry in your rucksack: its low weight and packability mean it takes up little space, while it provides the warmth you need as soon as you put it on.

On extremely cold and windy days on the slopes, it serves as an ideal mid-layer under a 3L shell jacket, with Allied® FX Down™ hybrid insulation retaining body heat without restricting movement.

In dry, cold weather, you can wear it as a standalone outer layer, providing comfort and protection from the cold during everyday outdoor activities.
