The Contrail 160 is the perfect bike for little adventurers setting off on their first cycling adventures.
Designed for children around 95 cm tall. This 16-inch bike with child-specific components is easy and safe to handle – even for small hands. It offers confidence, control and endless fun from the very first turn of the pedals!
Designed for children:
The bike is intended for children approximately 95–115 cm tall, with small hands and a handlebar specially designed for comfortable control. The lightweight aluminium construction (≈ 6,1 kg) makes it easy to manoeuvre.
Easy riding – “single speed”:
With no gears, there is less worry about shifting, less maintenance and more focus on learning to balance and ride.
Brakes and safety:
V-brakes adapted for children’s hands provide reliable, intuitive braking. The chain guard and kickstand help provide extra safety while riding and when parked.
Components and wheels:
16-inch wheels with wider tyres (Kenda Booster 16×2.0) provide stability and good grip on a variety of surfaces; the frame geometry, fork and handlebar height are adapted for children, making those first kilometres easier.
