ROTOR SRAM HS2 220 ROUNDED

The HS2 brake discs were specially developed to meet the requirements of the MTB sector. Compared with previous versions, both braking performance and heat dissipation have been improved. In addition, the HS2 discs tend to be quieter. These properties were achieved with a new profile that improves the traction of the brake pads. Heat management is improved by 6 recessed spokes with a special heat-dissipating coating. In addition, the friction ring is 2.0 mm thick, compared with 1.8 mm on SRAM Centerline discs. Thanks to these optimisations, braking performance has increased by 7%, and the window temperature could be reduced by 40 degrees in the Garda test. Rounded edges on the top of the lens minimise the risk of injury and comply with the guidelines of the UCI World Cycling Association. They also make it easier to install the wheel, because the rounded top prevents it from tilting in the brake calliper. The discs are available in diameters of 160 – 220 millimetres. Thanks to their high stability, the HS2 brake discs are also ideally suited to E-MTB use
