The Shimano Deore XT RT-MT800 rotor uses the successful Ice-Technologies Freeza design to reduce temperatures during braking, resulting in consistent braking performance even in the most demanding conditions, while also extending brake pad life. The construction is a so-called sandwich disc structure (stainless steel – aluminium – stainless steel), which not only improves braking power and reliability, but also efficiently dissipates heat via the integrated cooling fins.
