Body Geometry methodology

The human body evolved for walking, not cycling, which can lead to the foot collapsing, reducing its power, misalignment of the foot, knee and hip, and “hot foot” in traditional cycling shoes. Torch 2.0, like all Body Geometry shoes, helps address these issues with three patented technologies—Varus Wedge, Longitudinal Arch and Metatarsal Button—for pain-free power gains, confirmed by scientific testing and two decades of well-documented trials.

Comfort

For a secure fit, Torch 2.0 uses a unique, premium Li2 BOA® dial with soft guides for added comfort. In addition, the fully perforated, seamless upper eliminates seams in the shoe that can cause irritation across the top of the foot. The seamless upper is also fully laser-perforated for increased ventilation.

Confidence off the bike

Large rubber grips on the toe and heel of the outsole provide a stable, grippy platform for an easy transition from the bike to the local café, while giving riders greater confidence when pushing off the road to clip in or stopping at traffic lights. The rubber grips help the shoe hold onto concrete, providing a reassuring, stabilising feel when unclipped.
