While Plasma 5 set new standards for integrated storage, Plasma 6 takes things even further. All your spares and nutrition can be neatly stowed in the frame, while the new hydration system lets you stay in an aero position while drinking and eating. Refilling is easy even while riding, meaning fewer stops and more speed.
The most aerodynamic position for the down tube would be directly behind the front wheel, but even the slightest turn of the wheel causes turbulence and increases drag. Extensive testing has shown that the fastest solution in real-world conditions is to have a greater distance between the front wheel and the down tube – a compromise that delivers speed without the drawbacks.
The rear wheel is always aligned with the seat tube, which means greater aerodynamic efficiency. To help every rider achieve the best possible position, regardless of their choice of rims or tyres, the Plasma 6 offers six different rear-wheel mounting positions. This makes the optimal aero setup achievable for every triathlete.
