Additional details:

Fit

The BOA 360° fit system features an adjustable dial for a precise, secure fit.

Lightweight

The DRT5 Maven helmet weighs 60 grams less than the previous DRT5 helmet, making it lighter than ever.

Protection

The Mips® safety system is a low-friction layer integrated into the helmet, designed to reduce rotational motion of the brain and thereby help reduce harmful forces that could otherwise affect the rider’s head.

Ventilation

The DRT5 Maven has a total of 19 vents, including newly designed front and top vents to significantly increase airflow and breathability.

Comfort

The DRT5 Maven features an innovative Sweat Guard brow pad and traditional textile padding at the top of the helmet. The Sweat Guard silicone gel helps collect and redirect sweat away from your forehead, keeping your glasses clear of smears, while the textile padding adds more contact points to improve overall comfort.

Lining

The Ionic+™ antimicrobial lining is activated by sweat to keep the helmet fresh and control odour.

Eyewear storage

Front vents allow riders to store their glasses easily. Unobtainium® grips hold the glasses’ temples in place, while a second eyewear landing zone is located at the back of the helmet, a feature exclusive to the DRT5 Maven.

Eyewear integration

The four-position adjustable visor is designed to keep sun and dirt off your face while providing secure storage for your glasses and goggles. The DRT5 Maven was designed to be worn with Oakley mountain bike goggles, ensuring a seamless fit.

Design

The DRT5 Maven features a branded badge with an Iiridium® finish, reflecting the colours of the Prizm™ lenses found in Oakley eyewear. Each badge colour is unique to the helmet colour, with all of them celebrating Oakley’s eyewear heritage.
