Additional details:

Fit

The BOA 360° fit system includes an adjustable dial to provide a precise, secure fit.

Lightweight

The DRT5 Maven helmet weighs 60 grams less than the previous DRT5 helmet, making it lighter than ever.

Protection

The Mips® safety system is a low-friction layer integrated into the helmet, designed to reduce rotational movement of the brain and thereby help reduce harmful forces that could otherwise affect the wearer’s head.

Ventilation

The DRT5 Maven has a total of 19 ventilation ports, including newly designed front and upper vents to significantly increase airflow and breathability.

Comfort

The DRT5 Maven is equipped with an innovative Sweat Guard brow pad and traditional textile padding on the top of the helmet. The Sweat Guard silicone gel helps collect and redirect sweat away from your forehead, keeping your glasses smear-free, while the textile padding adds more contact points to improve overall comfort.

Lining

The Ionic+™ antimicrobial lining is activated by sweat, helping to keep the helmet fresh and control odour.

Eyewear storage

The front vents allow riders to store their glasses easily. Unobtainium® grips hold the glasses’ arms in place, while a second eyewear landing zone is located at the back of the helmet—a feature available only on the DRT5 Maven.

Eyewear integration

The 4-position adjustable visor is designed to keep the sun and dirt off your face while providing secure storage for your glasses and goggles. The DRT5 Maven was designed to be worn with Oakley mountain biking goggles, ensuring a seamless fit.

Design

The DRT5 Maven features a brand badge with an Iiridium® coating that reflects the colours of the Prizm™ lenses found in Oakley eyewear. Each badge colour is unique to the helmet colour, and all celebrate Oakley’s eyewear heritage.

CPSC 1203, EN1078 and ANZ2063 certifications.
