The CUBE Reaction C:62 ONE 2027 is a men’s hardtail mountain bike with a lightweight carbon frame and 100 mm of travel, designed for fast cross-country riding and marathons. Its carefully considered geometry and well-chosen components provide an excellent balance of speed on the flats and stability on descents.
It sits in the mid-range of fast XC bikes for recreational and advanced riders. With 100 mm of front travel and a rigid rear end, it belongs to the classic cross-country category, which prioritises low weight and efficiency over comfort on rough terrain. It is designed for riders who enjoy rapid acceleration, long gravel rides and moderately technical forest trails.
On steep climbs, the low weight of the carbon frame and the Shimano drivetrain’s wide gear range with a 51-tooth sprocket help conserve energy and keep you pedalling smoothly without having to get off and walk.
On fast, flat sections and gravel roads, the aggressive XC geometry and fast-rolling Schwalbe tyres make it easy to maintain a high cruising speed and accelerate rapidly out of corners.
On moderately technical descents, the RockShox air fork with 100 mm of travel and reliable Shimano BR-MT410 hydraulic disc brakes with a 180 mm front rotor provide dependable stopping power and confident control of the bike.
