Frame stiffness, a low centre of gravity and optimal shock absorption are the key advantages of our integrated suspension technology. The condition of the rear shock has a significant impact on suspension performance. The shock is always protected from dirt, water and impacts to ensure the best performance.
With the shock mounted internally, we can design an ultra-compact linkage system for low weight and high stiffness. The linkage is attached directly to the shock and mounted on a pivot inside the frame, which means the suspension pivot no longer needs to be built around the frame.
The integration concept includes a clever tool-storage solution inside the frame, easily accessed by opening the downtube cover. The kit includes a spare inner tube, mini pump, tyre levers and a place for chain links to save the day in the event of a puncture.
The ability to adjust the height of the bottom bracket axle and the head tube angle lets you optimise the geometry and handling for you and your trails. With the Flip-Chip on Bold VarioTec, you can adjust the bottom bracket axle height by 6,3 mm, giving the LINKIN frame the flexibility to be customised without any additional investment!
