It was developed through years of testing at the highest level and achieved one of the highest independent safety ratings ever recorded. It offers 16 % greater ventilation than the previous generation, while optimising airflow in all racing conditions. Tadej Pogačar and Isaac del Toro chose it and wore it in races throughout the season. It is exactly the same helmet used in competition, with no differences between the peloton model and the production model.
The Trenta 3K Carbon was tested in Met’s Tube wind tunnel, using head models fitted with aerodynamic and thermal sensors that can analyse drag and temperature changes caused by airflow.
The helmet features 3K Airframe, a carbon wing structure that eliminates EPS from the inner frame. The result is an uninterrupted internal air channel running from the front air intake to the rear exhaust, ensuring consistent airflow at both high and low speeds.
The new construction achieves a 40% improvement in the Virginia Tech test – the world’s most recognised independent safety assessment protocol – and earns 5 stars, one of the highest ratings to date.
