Magnetic Chinbar Release

MCR stands for Magnetic Chinbar Release and allows you to instantly convert the helmet from full-face to open-face. MCR is MET’s revolutionary system, created in collaboration with Fidlock.

Adjustable visor

The visor has two adjustable positions to accommodate goggles or sunglasses.

Washable pads

The Parachute MCR also comes with two sizes of pads to help you find the perfect fit and comfort. They can also be removed and washed.

BOA® fit system

BOA® FS1 allows progressive forward and backward adjustment for a precise fit, and also offers 3 vertical adjustment positions. The strap wraps 360° around the head to avoid potential pressure points and optimise comfort.

MIPS brain protection system

The MIPS-C2® system separates the shell and liner with a thin, low-friction plastic layer (LFL). Attached by 4 rubber elastomers, this layer allows the helmet to slide relative to the head in the event of an impact, redirecting harmful rotational movement.

Ventilation

All MET helmets are renowned for their ventilation. The 21 vents and MET-designed internal air channels work in synergy to provide maximum airflow at low and high speeds.

ASTM certified

ASTM is the only standardised test for chinbar safety. The Parachute MCR exceeds the strict ASTM flex limits by 40 % to 50 %. The chinbar is designed to achieve an optimal balance between stiffness and energy dissipation, giving you confidence when wearing the brand-new Parachute MCR.
