Greg Minnaar’s signature tyre, the Maxxis Assegai, delivers solid, predictable grip across the entire tread profile, regardless of lean angle. The Assegai can be used front and rear for a secure feel, or as a front tyre paired with a faster-rolling rear tyre.
WT – Wide Trail tyre designed for modern, wider rims.
EXO – An extremely abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewall of the tyre. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the tyre’s performance remains unchanged.
TR – TUBELESS READY
DC – Dual Compound – the side knobs are made from softer rubber for better grip in corners, while the centre knobs use a harder compound for a longer lifespan and lower rolling resistance
Intended use: Trail, Enduro, Downhill
Fitment: front or rear
