MAXXIS Ardent Race is a fast tyre with good grip. It is suitable for technically demanding terrain as well as marathons and all-day rides. With its moderately aggressive tread, this tyre sits between the Maxxis Ikon and Ardent models. The centre knobs are designed to minimise rolling resistance, while the side knobs provide good grip in corners. The tyre can be used at the rear or front if you want the fastest version of a tyre with good grip.
TR – TUBELESS READY Tyres used without inner tubes offer many advantages, including lower tyre pressure for better grip (more contact with the ground), lower rolling resistance and a reduced risk of punctures. The sealant also seals smaller punctures directly in the tyre.
KEVLAR – The outermost part of the tyre that sits on/in the rim is made from Kevlar, helping to reduce the tyre’s weight.
EXO – An extremely abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewall of the tyre. This tightly woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the tyre’s performance remains unchanged.
