HIKING BOOTS SCARPA RAPID XT MID GTX shark/military

RAPID XT MID GTX is a mid-cut leather boot that also protects the ankle, suitable for mountaineering, trail use and light hiking. Every detail is designed to provide grip, comfort and protection, including the TPU rand and the new GORE-TEX ePE membrane, which delivers high technical performance with a low environmental impact. The outsole is Vibram® MegaGrip, with climbing zones at the toe and a braking system at the heel for stability and grip. The innovative shape, which is wide and ergonomic at the toe, is designed to follow the shape of the foot.

Upper

Made from leather with a minimalist design, reinforced with a TPU rand and rubber toe cap for high abrasion resistance. The overall construction balances protection, comfort and light weight. The 3D Autofit ankle collar is designed to provide optimum comfort, protection and ankle support while walking.

Lining

The GORE-TEX ePE membrane delivers excellent performance and durability, providing waterproofing and breathability. The PFAS-free laminate, including a durable water-repellent (DWR) treatment, reflects a commitment to responsible chemical management while reducing the carbon footprint (according to Higg MSI).

Outsole

The Agility XT in Vibram MegaGrip combines a climbing zone at the toe with a rear braking system. A 3D TPU insert in the medial section provides stability and high grip on traverses. The 3.5 mm lugs balance sensitivity and durability, making it ideal for all types of approaches.
