The subscription is free for the first year and starts after activation. It then costs 3,95€/month, with the option to pay only for the months you use it (e.g. you use your bike from April to November). Payment is made via the app (TELE2 operator – across the whole EU + Switzerland, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein).
As well as real-time GPS tracking, Bike Trax also has a motion sensor. In practice, this means that when you park your bike, you activate the “lock” in the app, and any movement or vibration of the bike triggers an alarm on your mobile phone … so you can enjoy a beer without a care in the world after a well-earned climb.
IF YOUR BIKE IS STOLEN ANYWAY
If your e-bike is stolen, real-time GPS tracking is activated … If the thief removes the e-bike battery, the device has an additional battery that enables up to 15 hours of active tracking! The GPS tracker with battery is installed in the motor compartment, and installation is Plug & Play.
The tracker is hidden under the motor, so it is invisible!
