Fox Ranger W/Liner are technical mountain bike shorts made from stretch ripstop fabric, with a removable inner liner for trail and enduro riding. They are designed for comfort and performance on the bike, while also offering a relaxed look for socialising after a ride.

They sit in the mid-range of versatile mountain bike shorts. They are intended for recreational and more advanced riders on varied forest trails and at trail centres. Thanks to the DWR coating, they are also suitable for riding in damp conditions or on muddy trails, as the fabric effectively repels water and dirt.

• Stretch ripstop fabric: The 4-way stretch fabric, made with at least 85% recycled nylon fibres, provides durability and unrestricted pedalling.
• DWR coating: Durable Water Repellent treatment helps prevent moisture from penetrating and makes mud easier to clean off after a ride.
• Race-ratchet fastening: The micro-adjustable buckle lets you fine-tune the fit at the waist with millimetre precision using one hand, without stopping.
• Removable liner: The included inner liner with chamois (8.5-inch inseam) adds comfort on longer rides and can be worn separately.
• Storage: Two zipped pockets securely hold a phone, keys or snacks during aggressive riding.

Cut and fit

The cut is tailored to the riding position on a mountain bike. The shorts have no conventional fly, preventing pressure and fabric bunching when the rider is leaning forward. The outer shorts have an 11.75-inch (approximately 30 cm) inseam, providing optimal coverage and pairing well with cycling knee pads.
