The CUBE Reaction Hybrid Performance 720 2027 is a hardtail electric mountain bike with 120 mm of travel and a Bosch Performance Line motor, designed for long rides and off-road exploration. Its powerful drive system and carefully considered aluminium construction make it easy to tackle varied trails.
It sits in the mid-range of recreational e-MTBs. With 120 mm of travel (100 mm on smaller frame sizes), it falls between classic cross-country and light trail riding. The Size Split system matches the wheel size to the frame size (27.5" for S, 29" for M-XXL), ensuring optimal proportions. It is designed for riders looking for a stable platform for all-day rides on forest tracks, gravel roads and moderately challenging singletrack.
On long gravel climbs, the Bosch motor with 75 Nm of torque and the wide-range Shimano Deore gearing make pedalling easy and help you avoid overexertion. The system intelligently adjusts its power according to your pedal pressure.
For all-day rides, the 720 Wh battery and 2.6-inch-wide Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres help absorb bumps and provide excellent grip on mixed terrain. The frame also allows for easy installation of mudguards and a luggage carrier for multi-day adventures.
On moderately technical descents, the 120 mm travel of the SR Suntour front fork and the stable frame geometry keep the bike composed over roots and small rocky obstacles, while the hydraulic brakes provide control.
