Connecting to the bike is quick, after which you can adjust the motor’s performance to suit your preferences – from conserving battery power to maximum performance. You can set how responsive the motor is to pedal pressure, for either an immediate response or a more natural ride feel. The app also lets you customise the display, edit the data shown, switch control sounds on or off, and much more.

Founded in Germany in 1994, TQ specialises in electronic components. Its latest generation of motors with Harmonic Pin Ring technology (HPR60) delivers an exceptional weight-to-power ratio – 1910 g for 60 Nm of torque. The motor unit’s smaller size allows for a lighter bike, better integration and a more precise system that reduces play and delivers a more natural pedalling feel. The technology also reduces system noise, for a quiet and authentic riding experience in nature.

Battery and range – smart solutions for longer rides

Solace is equipped with an internal 360 Wh battery, which can be supplemented with an external 160 Wh Range Extender. Together, they provide maximum performance until fully discharged. TQ uses specially designed battery cells that maintain full power even at low charge levels. The system allows charging with the Range Extender installed, while the smart charger charges the main battery first, so you’re always ready to ride without worry.
