This is thanks to premium goose down with RDS 800 certification and a fill power of 800 cubic inches, with a 95\/5 down-to-feather ratio. Down is known for its excellent insulating properties at very low weight and with a small pack size. The only drawback of down is, and remains, its sensitivity to moisture. When down gets wet, it clumps together and loses its loft, and therefore its insulating properties. That’s why the premium goose down used in the Radical Down Hooded jacket is treated with DOWNTEK®. DOWNTEK® water-repellent treatment allows the down to retain its loft and breathability even when exposed to moisture, so it continues to keep you warm.

In addition, the down dries faster and can be machine-washed without losing its quality. For added protection from the elements, the lightweight nylon outer layer is wind- and water-resistant. Stretch side panels under the arms provide improved breathability, temperature regulation and freedom of movement. Stretch at the hem and cuffs keeps the jacket in place and prevents cold air from getting in or warmth from escaping.

Front pockets and a chest pocket provide space for storing small essentials and keep your hands warm at the summit.
