The CUBE Reaction Hybrid Race 800 2026 is a trapeze electric mountain bike with a powerful Bosch CX motor and 120 mm of travel, designed for off-road exploration and long rides. It combines the ruggedness of a mountain bike with the comfort of a lowered top tube, making it easier to get on and off at every stop.
It sits in the mid-range of hardtail e-bikes for off-road exploration and long rides. With 120 mm of front fork travel, it falls into the classic trail and cross-country categories, making it ideal for gravel roads, forest trails and moderate singletrack. At around 24.9 kg, its weight is typical of an e-MTB with a high-capacity 800 Wh cell battery and a robust aluminium frame.
It is designed for recreational riders looking for reliable equipment for all-day rides and less demanding terrain, while appreciating the easier access offered by the trapeze frame design.
On steep climbs, the Bosch Performance CX motor with its 120 Nm of torque and the wide-range SRAM cassette with 10–52 teeth deliver smooth power over roots and rocky steps without losing your rhythm.
On all-day rides, the 800 Wh battery and comfortable trapeze geometry help reduce fatigue, while the 2.6-inch-wide Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres offer excellent grip and low rolling resistance on gravel and tarmac.
On fast descents, the 4-piston Magura Louise brakes and dropper seatpost provide stability and controlled handling over technical sections, allowing you to adjust your centre of gravity quickly to suit the terrain.
The 800 Wh battery covers 80–130 km per charge on mixed terrain with medium assistance. Expect a range of 60–80 km with full assistance and on steep climbs.
