The Black Diamond Solution is a versatile climbing harness featuring Contour Edge technology and a seamless Infinity Loop belay loop, designed for sport climbing and multi-pitch routes. It is designed for maximum comfort when hanging on the wall for extended periods and offers enough space for a full rack of gear.
It sits in the upper mid-range of climbing harnesses for sport climbing and mountaineering. It is intended for recreational and advanced climbers looking for comfort during long belays and unrestricted movement on hard climbs. Weighing around 316 g in the smallest size, it offers an excellent balance of low weight and reliable support.
On long multi-pitch routes, Contour Edge technology and the wide waist belt reduce back fatigue during extended belays at stances.
For sport climbing and intense attempts on routes, the low weight and ergonomic design allow complete freedom of movement without rubbing around the thighs.
On traditional climbs, four large gear loops and an additional fifth loop at the back allow quickdraws, cams and nuts to be organised clearly without the gear getting tangled together.
The harness is available in sizes from XXS to XL, with weights ranging from 316 g in the smallest size to 440 g in the largest.
The construction includes 20 % polyester, 20 % nylon, 20 % EVA foam for comfort and 10 % ultra-strong UHMWPE fibres for safety and durability.
